The S2 Adventure is an electric scooter from Taiwanese electric scooter brand Gogoro, a subsidiary of HTC, one of the biggest smart phone makers in the world. The company is listed on NASDAQ and provides exceptionally high-quality and durable products.

The S2 Adventure is a special edition of the 2 Series. The 2 Series offers almost the same performance as the Gogoro 1 but has a much lower price.

The scooter has a 7.600 watt electric motor for a top speed of 45 km/t. The scooter accelerates from 0 til 50 km/t på 4,3 sekunder.

The speed of the scooter can be restricted to be officially registered as 45 km/t scooter.

The scooter is designed for off-road usage. The scooter has 35 mm higher suspension, 30 mm higher seat hight and 30 mm higher ground clearance. The scooter has a 245 mm enlarged front disc brake with race-level 4 piston radial mounted calipers for improved braking performance in wet conditions.

A Tour Edition is standard equipped with 100% waterproof storage bags on the sides of the scooter.

The scooter is equipped with dual disc brakes, regenerative braking (engine braking) and Synchronized Braking System (SBS) that delivers simultaneous braking force to the front and rear wheels, balancing stopping force to reduce slips when hard braking or during panic stops while carrying heavy cargo. The Gogoro 2 Utility scooter is optimized for safety specifically for cargo / delivery purposes.

The scooter is available with many accessoires specifically designed for cargo / delivery purposes including a navigation/smart phone holder with a robust / durable movable arm.

IPX5 water proof

Like all Gogoro scooters, the scooter is optimized for safety and is IPX5 waterproof. The scooter will enable to continue driving during floods and storms while most petrol scooters will fail.

The scooter is equipped with regenerative braking that will return power to the batteries and that helps to reduce air pollution from disc brakes.

Low maintenance

Battery Swap network

Unlike other electric scooters that charge via a wall outlet, the Gogoro is provided with a battery subscription and a network of GoStation battery swapping stations. It takes just 6 seconds to swap the battery for a new charged battery.

Next to the battery swap network Gogoro also offers a charging station called a GoCharger that charges both batteries in 150 minutter.

The range of the batteries is 110 km.

The 2 Series is designed to be economical. It uses mainly standard parts that are readily available at low cost in most countries. The scooter is practically maintenance free and can be serviced by most regular scooter garages.

The scooter has a lockable storage compartment with USB charge ports.
